Untangle reads your Gmail export and groups every sender into one clean list — how many emails they've sent, what kind of service they are, and a link to unsubscribe. It's a faster way to see (and clean up) everything that's been emailing you.

1. Go to takeout.google.com and sign in to the Gmail account you want to scan
2. Click "Deselect all" at the top
3. Scroll down and check the box next to "Mail"
4. Click "Next step"
5. Leave the defaults — "Send download link via email", "Export once", .zip file
6. Click "Create export"

Only if you choose to. The default way to scan is uploading a Gmail export file — that's read entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers. If you use the faster "connect with an app password" option instead, we connect to your inbox once, read only sender headers (never your email content), and the app password itself is never stored or logged. Either way, we only ever save the aggregated sender list — never raw email content.

Pro is a one-time payment that unlocks your account permanently — pay once, keep it forever, no recurring charges. Because access unlocks instantly on payment, all sales are final except where required by Indian consumer protection law.

We show the real unsubscribe link whenever we find one in your email headers. When we can't find one, we show a best-effort guess, clearly marked as unconfirmed — but we can't guarantee any link successfully removes you, since that action happens on the sender's side, not ours.

Yes, any time — visit the Your Data page and delete your saved scans in one click. This removes your Untangle data permanently; it doesn't close your sign-in account itself.
